VOIPBuster - Free Internet Phone Calls!
Free phone calls over the Internet! Yes, you’ve heard this before. With Skype, we now have great voice quality over the Internet, almost equal to those of traditional phone lines.
However, Voice-Over-IP companies continue to set new expectations. The latest is VOIPBuster, which promises free calls from the Internet to land lines in over 15 countries, including the US, UK and many European countries. The only catch is that one has to purchase 5 Euros in credit first.
This programme is still in beta, but so far, I’ve logged about 60 minutes of calls to my colleagues in California without charging a cent. The quality is pretty good and the lag is nearly imperceptible. Comparable to a cellphone connection.
