A 40-week Project!
Yesterday, RD and I went to visit her gynaecologist to confirm what we had suspected for several weeks - we are now expecting our first child! We had an ultrasound scan to get our first glimpse of a 9-week old fetus.
Actually, we had already known for a couple of weeks, but waited until I returned from the US and had a chance to get our first scan. The doctor assured us that everything was normal based on the results. The torso was visible, and some of the limbs were even moving.
This is a very exciting start for us, although it comes at a time of great change. We will have to find a good doctor to assist us and to make sure that RD settles in quickly. At least I haven’t decided on a home yet, so I can now choose something larger that will be able to accomodate our needs.
I feel very blessed and continue to pray that the Good Lord will watch over us.
